About Simplicity

We at Simplicity are building a new smart way of how cities and municipalities connect with their citizens. Become a key member of our early team to have a significant impact on building a great product. We are now looking for DevOps Engineers to build a reliable and scalable infrastructure to support our rapid growth.

What you will do

  • Build, automate, monitor and scale our user-facing applications with reliability and performance in mind
  • Work closely with other Engineering teams to identify existing issues with the product, identify the sources of the problems, and help to fix them
  • Implement high-quality release engineering practices to facilitate rapid development, safe changes, and engineer productivity
  • Maintain system architecture documentation
  • Drive projects from ideation to launch
  • Contribute to technical and architectural decision-making

Who we are looking for

  • Experienced with architecting in Cloud (preferably AWS)
  • You are able to react calmly and strategically to unexpected downtime and are excited to solve challenging problems quickly
  • You get excited about complex computer science problems, have a love for clean code, and insist on automating repetitive tasks
  • You are persistent and comfortable to choose the right tool to get the job done
  • You are analytical, fond of the latest technological trends, and a quick learner
  • Experience with DevOps and automation tooling and scripting skills is a plus

Monthly salary: from 2,000€ - 6,000€ depending on your seniority + Employee stock ownership plan
